Wow what an upgrade from IE Stage 2+ to Jackal Stage 2+ feels way better and runs like a dream!!!
Had this installed with the merc racing heat exchanger. To jump to stage 2. Definitely a pickup in low end torque and acceleration
So far both tunes are amazing, the power is smooth and trans is way more responsive. Definitely wish each had more of a description of what it is and maybe in the future COD shut off.
Compared to Audis newer turbo models I wasn’t sure a naturally aspirated tune would change much but it completely wakes the car up. The first mod you would be doing

Stage 1 ECU.. increase as advertised. Very noticeable power difference. And the TCU has completely changed my driving experience with this vehicle (2015 SQ5) Incredibly snappy and aggressive when needed, but can still cruise very smoothly in comfort mode while having much more response from the pedal if pushed.
Truly elevated an already existing experience.

I chose to go with Jackal based on the customer support, as well as their place of origin being close to my home town. I was looking to make my S4 quicker than factory - and this file did just that! Makes for a fun daily driver, 1st/2nd gear rips!

Bottom line – the Jackal tune is an absolute bang-for-buck. The value you get out of this tune is seriously impressive, especially considering how reliable it’s been since day one. Power delivery is smooth, the car pulls hard, and drivability remains rock solid. It’s clear Jackal has put serious time into refining this.
That said, there are a few minor limitations when it comes to customization. You don’t have control over things like burble intensity, on/off toggle for burbles, launch RPM, or shift point behavior. Also, besides a single reference image, there aren’t detailed power estimates per file, which would be helpful for those comparing stages or looking for benchmarks.
But despite those small drawbacks, it’s honestly a great tune overall. If you’re after something reliable, well-tested, and fun, without breaking the bank – Jackal delivers. I’m happy with it, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a no-BS performance upgrade.
Worth every penny! This tune is a must if you own a B8.5 RS5! Was not expecting such impressive results from a tune on a N/A car. Engine power feels great, and it revs much quicker. Transmission is night and day better as well. Very happy with this product!
Spent the best part of a year deciding who to tune with, in the end it had to be jackal. I ordered on a Thursday and the package arrived to me (in the u.k) by wednesday the following week. Matt sent me login details within 1 hour of asking for them via email..on a sunday! Worth every penny. Only regret i have is not doing it much sooner.

Great so far. Auto Start/Stop permanently disabled is fantastic. My car is currently stock aside from an intake, billet thermostat, PCV, fresh supercharger oil, and aluminum collant return lines. Pulls nicely, i havent laid into it yet, waiting on a MERC Racing heat exchanger and CWA150 pump. No misfires, no codes, no failures to speak if as of now. Highly recommend. ECU and TCU tune is unmatched in the current C7.5 tuning market.
