The stock B9 S4/S5/RS4/RS5/SQ5 2.9T/3.0T engine uses a small, economically-designed 58mm/2.28" throttle body with plastic flanges, a design that leaves a lot of room for improvement, especially on cars with upgraded tuning or larger turbochargers. The sandwiched design also invites boost leaks from both sides of the throttle body.

Other companies have offered band-aids in the form of upgraded metal flanges, keeping the tiny stock throttle in place. We decided to start from scratch, designing and implementing a throttle body upgrade that accomplishes more than just reinforcing a poor design.

Our 70mm/2.75" throttle body upgrade mounts in the factory location, replicating the spacing and stacked height of the stock plastic flanged design. This allows you to run any existing charge pipe you currently have with our included silicone coupler!

Note: Our upgraded throttle body is not compatible with the stock plastic/rubber pre-throttle charge pipe. You will need an aftermarket metal charge pipe to run this upgrade.

A Perfect Fit

Our billet throttle body adapters feature a smooth taper and are milled to perfectly match the OEM 60mm intake manifold inlet. We have engineered these plates to match the stacked height of the stock throttle body assembly to work with stock or upgraded intake manifold piping, providing smooth flow for any stage and any turbo size.

With the elimination of the stock plastic flange design, the provided coupler attaches directly to your new throttle body, removing a potential leak and simplifying the system. Our interlocking flange design ensures perfect alignment of the throttle body with the intake manifold, ensuring a perfect fit every time.

WMI Ready

Our adapter plates have a 1/8" NPT bung machined into the top face for easy WMI installation just after the throttle body, leaving you with an extra port for water injection, boost reference, an extra sensor, or anything else you may need to hook up to a manifold/vacuum source! Running a boost gauge in this location gives you manifold reference and leaves your charge pipe bungs free for WMI or nitrous use. Plates will ship with a stainless plug included in case you don't need the extra port.

No Wiring Required

Our throttle body upgrade is plug and play; no adapter harness, re-wiring, or messing around required. Simply install your upgraded TB, plug it in, flash the ECU and go!

Upgraded throttle body software is required! Our kit is currently only supported through custom tuning by Jackal Motorsports. If you aren't tuned with Jackal already, please contact us before ordering.

Notes:

• This kit will ship with a 3.0"-2.5" reducer included. If you require a different coupler, please include it in the notes. If you order the throttle body with our Omega Intercooler Kit, a 3.0"-3.0" coupler will be provided. If you already have our Omega intercooler, leave a note and we will exchange your throttle body coupler before shipping.
• This kit ships with an o-ring for the throttle body plate. Ensure that you do not lose this o-ring during installation.
