Upgraded 84mm stock location throttle body for your supercharged EA837 3.0T
Our throttle body upgrade mounts in the factory location, removing any need to purchase a proprietary intake. Any 3.5" intake you already have on your car will be a direct fit for this throttle body upgrade, or you can choose to upgrade to our Omega Intake for maximum flow! This kit replaces our previous 80mm offering.
Our billet throttle body adapters feature a smooth taper and are milled to perfectly match the OEM 70mm supercharger inlet. We have engineered these plates to be able to be easily ported up to 80mm to match even the most aggressively ported superchargers, something you simply can't do with other upgraded TB kits due to their snout-style design. The lack of a snout on a ported charger also means much less restriction at high RPMs.
The adapter plates also have a meth bung machined into the top face for easy WMI installation just after the throttle body, eliminating the need to drill your intake or supercharger inlet. WMI bungs will come pre-plugged with a stainless 1/8" NPT plug.
Every kit will include a harness for plug-and-play operation, but a wiring Diagram can be found here in case you don't have a wiring harness.

This kit will ship with a 3.5" coupler included. If you require a different coupler, please include it in the notes. If you order the throttle body with our 102mm Omega kit, a 3.5" to 4" reducer will be included.

Overall, intake is very well made, an exceptional piece to say the least. The velocity stack is built in so there is no rubber or silicone added piece added which is great. Throttle body is definitely a tight fit, but I need to trim just a bit of the timing chain cover with a Dremel to get it to fit better. (My advice on that, use high speed and work slow when remove the curved lip on the timing chain cover). Reason I removed the material is because it was pushing into the silicone fitting causing a distorted fitment and having issues putting on the metal clamp between the Titanium intake pipe and the silicone fitting. After material was removed, it fit better. Here are some pics, a before, a picture of the material I had to remove to get things to fit better (Remember Go Slow n Easy), and then the rest are the GAS. Again, great product, car definitely breathes easier and accelerates better and of course the whine is louder… 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼… Money!!!

Install on my Q7 was pretty easy. Had to modify the vacuum solenoid bracket for proper installation. ***I'm stage 1 stock pulley, I made the mistake of not reading or researching the benefit of an oversized TB on stock pulleys/stage 1. Reached out to Matt and he said they will make a stage 1 TB tune for me. Unmatched customer service. Because Matt, Tony, and Bill at GAS are beyond helpful I'm planning to do the griptech pulley and then request Jackal do a stage1 single pulley TB tune.
