As a large luxury sedan, the D5 A8 carries considerable weight and utilizes a unique engine bay layout that prioritizes packaging and comfort over outright performance. Jackal Motorsports tuning unlocks the true potential of the EA839 platform, bringing the A8 to life with improved throttle response, stronger torque delivery, and significantly enhanced acceleration.

Our ECU calibrations are engineered specifically for the D5 platform and carefully optimize boost control, ignition timing, fueling, and torque management strategies. The result is a smoother, stronger powerband across the entire RPM range while maintaining the refinement and reliability expected from Audi’s flagship sedan.
Jackal Motorsports offers Stage 1, Stage 2, and fully custom Stage 3 tuning for the D5 A8 and A8L. Vehicles can be tuned using our Flash-at-Home platform or by scheduling an in-house flash at our facility (appointment required).
The result is a dramatic increase in power and torque across the entire RPM range, sharper throttle response, and a noticeably more responsive driving experience — all while maintaining factory-level safety systems.

AL552 TCU Tune – Included with All Stages
Every Jackal Motorsports ECU tune for the D5 A8/A8L includes a complete AL552 transmission calibration at no additional cost. This is not a simple torque limit increase — it is a fully engineered TCU tune designed to work in harmony with the ECU calibration.
The result is a transmission that shifts faster, responds more aggressively under load, and improves overall drivability.

Available Tuning Stages
Stage 1
Designed for completely stock vehicles. Stage 1 delivers substantial power and torque gains while maintaining OEM hardware and drivability.

Stage 2
Stage 2 tuning is designed for vehicles equipped with common performance upgrades, like intake, intercoolers, and downpipe. This further increases output while maintaining reliability.

Stage 3
Stage 3 is a fully custom calibration built around your specific hardware configuration and performance goals.

Flash Options
Customers can tune their vehicle using:
 Jackal Flash-at-Home platform
 In-house dyno tuning (appointment required)
Both options allow safe flashing, updates, and calibration changes while maintaining OEM ECU integration.
